Differentiated instruction is the process of creating lesson plans that are specific to the needs, interests, and strengths of each individual student. This kind of instruction gives students flexibility and choice in their learning while assisting teachers in personalizing instruction. This method also necessitates clear objectives and direction in order to assist students in meeting their learning desired outcomes. In order to provide students, the opportunity to investigate ideas and develop their competency, this curriculum concentrated on the most important subjects. It was designed with the following guiding principles: (1) fundamental, easy to comprehend and apply; (2) emphasizing the character and competency of all students; (3) adaptable, aligned; (4) working together; and (5) paying attention to study outcomes and feedback.
Differentiated education and genre-based teaching share the same philosophy and principles. The characteristics of autonomy, cooperation, collaboration, perseverance, critical thinking, and responsibility are emphasized in the two learning frameworks. With the objective to assist each learner’s learning outcomes in line with their unique learning readiness, interest, and learning profile, all of these values generate characteristics in each cycle of the genre-based teaching learning process
